The Last Laugh

I've had it up to here with anything and everything that had to do with Campus. It's the last time I ever want to even render the word in writing, much less say it. And, to quote someone's stock blog phrase, truth be told, that's the last time I'm ever going to write that word, or anything remotely related to it.

Like I said, I've had it.

To put it lightly, I believe it has completely run its course. It has had it as well. Having proven its saleability potential and commercial viability twice over, there's no longer anything to justify, nothing to prove. It's been there, done that, and so have I.

Personally, for it to attempt yet another comeback, or something similar to that sort, would be comedic, laughing stock material, and just downright unnecessary. I mean, what for? Are some bloated egos so unsatiable that certain quarters still deems its return a good reason, let alone a sane one? It's gone.. for-e-ver.

Sure, the diehards will cry foul, aside from lament their tiresome yearnings yadda yadda yadda; let them. Methinks it's about time to close the book, file it away to memory, and just move the fuck on. Things got pretty messy at the end there. Chalk it up to a blatant case of mismanagement from within, coupled with a conniving enemy from the outside. For me, it's all water under the bridge. Speaking of bridges, I'm aware of the fact about burning bridges with fiery missives and what nots, but.. who the fuck cares, y'know? I've clocked in enough airtime devoted to just one friggin' format, and sometimes you just have to step back, heave a sigh and just say enough is enough. Time to put the mf out of misery.

I've finally moved on, with a fairly successful amount of steps into an uncertain yet exciting future. Ironically, I had to lose almost everything, in order to gain something much more. And I'm perfectly fine with the trade-off. As Timbuk3 once sang, the future's so bright, I gotta wear my Ray-Ban's. I've got a normal nine-to-fiver (or sixer) and it's working out fine. And I'm technically still on-air, albeit once a week, but I'm fine with that, too.

And I've gotta laugh. Heartily. Why? Because I get the last one. Cheers.

So what happened in RT?

What's your mobile number again?
